A tower named Saint-Gobain
The symbolic power of office towers heightens identity issues for companies that inhabit them, and their interior design is a powerful vehicle of that identity.
That’s why VPdesign conceived the interior of Saint-Gobain tower, following three major themes associated with the century-old company:
• A new way of working, based on conviviality and flexibility. “Flex” and “shared” were our keywords for the layout of the office floors, the choice of materials and the design of furniture.
• Technological innovation and sustainable housing, using Saint-Gobain products especially adapted for walls and coatings as well as for thermal and acoustic insulation.
• History, by commissioning a hand-blown creation by the famous Saint-Just glass masters, as a symbol of 350 years of Saint-Gobain’s craftsmanship and of the marriage of modernity and cultural tradition.
In perfect harmony with the architectural design of the tower by Valode & Pistre, VPdesign offers a synthesis between innovation, cultural roots and new ways of working which will affirm the Saint-Gobain name for all its visitors.
